Who is Healthy Tree Consulting?
Hi, my name is Clint Miller and I own and operate Healthy Tree Consulting, a consulting arborist service. I have a degree in forestry from Iowa State University and am trained to give recommendations on a variety of tree management topics. I am a member of the Iowa Arborist Association and the Soil and Water Conservation Society. I am available evenings and weekends so you don't have to take time off work to be present for your appointment. I want you to be able to get all of your questions answered while I am on location.

Arborists are persons that specialize in the management and care of individual trees. A professional arborist is knowledgeable about tree care and usually has formally studied in the area of arboriculture, forestry, horticulture, and/or has had extensive training in the area of arboriculture through workshops and short courses. Homeowners in Iowa may need the services of a consulting arborist to give recommendations or evaluate situations dealing with individual trees on their property. A consulting arborist usually does not perform actual tree care work, but he or she is hired to give recommendations on a variety of tree management topics.
I do not perform any actual tree care work so I will not try to sell you unnecessary tree services just so I can charge you more. A "Tree Service" needs to advise you to prune or completely remove a tree because that is where they make money! What I offer is science based diagnosis and advice on what is best for your trees now and in the future.
